Australian born Adam Quinlan will go down as one of the most exciting players to pull on the shirt in the modern era.
With injury hampering his rovers career though it was ironic that during his longest run of games in over three years Head Coach Tony Smith should deliver the news that Quinlan would not be offered a new contract at the end of the 2021 season.
In our latest HeritageCast Adam Quinlan joins us to discuss playing rugby league as a youngster in Australia, making his NRL debut for St. George Illawarra, lining up with Benji Marshall and his mid season move to St. Helens.
This is all the pre cursor to the main event though with Adam revealing his love for Hull Kingston Rovers, his emotional first team debut and achieving promotion under Tim Sheens. Adam also discusses his successful 2018 season which saw him land the Roger Milward ‘Player of the Year’ award, Players ‘Player of the Year’ award and the Members’ Player of the Year’.
HeritageCast #13 finishes with Adam revealing the heartbreak of not being able to feature for Rovers in our play off campaign, the tough reality of COVID-19 lockdowns and how hard it was to play in empty stadiums.
