We’ve got another bumper episode for you this week, with plenty to talk about from the world of Rugby League.
We start on a sad note as we talk about the life of Matt King, who has died aged 33. Phil worked on his book, 04.04.04, and is best placed to reflect on the impact he had in his short time with us.
Our first guest is Richard Mathers, always honest and open with his opinions, we discuss the future departure of Steve Price from Warrington Wolves, and he shares with us his thoughts on who should take over at the Halliwell Jones. Plus, there’s his recollections of transferring from playing to the outside world, and one of the major infulences on his career.
We’re back in Cumbria then as Barrow Raiders coach Paul Crarey and his Chairman Steve Neale are with us with the new season less than a month away.
They’re got big aims for the future too, as well as talking how the club is strengthening on and off the field, and the work being done to get the crowds back in at Craven Park.
We’ve also got a Magic Weekend to look forward to, and plenty of games to be streamed, and the most pointless of all changes to the laws, the 20/40.
